{two} how have you changed in the past year?Erm... I don't think I have really.. haha.. I haven't travelled as much and it's bugging me.. but I have a few trips up my sleeve so there's light at the end of the tunnel!!
{three} have you ever had any surgeries?I've had a verrucae cut out of my foot, which my podiatrist referred to as surgery...I've also had all of my wisdom teeth pulled by an oral surgeon.. does that count??
{four} why did you start your blog?To document my life and share with friends in distant shores...
{five} what are you looking forward to this summer?CANADA!!! CANADA!! CANADA!!! Cannot wait!!! CANADA!!!Road tripping with one of my favouritest people in the whole wide world..Time at KB's cottage... mmmmmlake.....

Wee bit Wednesday

How is it only Wednesday?? I could have sworn it's Thursday already!! We have been having some CRAZY weather the past few days.. yesterday started grey.. then it got sunny.. then it got dark really quick and we had a 30min thunderstorm.. complete with thunderbolts and lightening... very very frightening...!!  Then it stopped, and two hours later, it was such a nice evening, you would never believe we'd had a storm if you hadn't witnessed it yourself!! Anyways.. here's a wee bit...

{one} how many times have you been a bridesmaid/maid of honor?Never! I was asked once, but the wedding was in England, a week before my High School finals so it was a no go...  She stopped talking to me for a few years..
{two} what’s the last thing your do before you fall asleep at night?Turn out the light! I'm trying to get into the habit of putting foot cream on before I go to sleep...
{three} you just won your dream vacation, all expenses paid. where are you going?Around the world baby!!
{four} what is your favorite outdoor activity?Umm... Probably snowboarding or wakeboarding.. otherwise, going for a paddle in a kayak around a lake... 
{five} as a child, what did you want to “be when you grew up”? did you end up there?I don't think I was ever specific about what I wanted to be.. I would like to be a travel writer/reviewer when I grow up!  I'm still not quite sure where I've "ended up" so... I'll have to get back to you on this one!
{six} what are 3 things your dream home would have that you don’t currently have?A kitchen which has a window! A view of water (preferably the ocean, but a lake would do). A room to craft/sew/make things... 
{seven} what’s for dinner tonight?I'm not sure.. I'm thinking pork noodle soup at the mo.. coz I think I have everything I need in the fridge... 
{eight} if someone stopped by your house unannounced on a typical Saturday night, what would they find you doing?Watching tv.. faffing on facebook.. nothing overly exciting.. I may be baking..??
{nine} what’s your average monthly water bill?No idea! Water is covered by Council Tax here!

Wee bit Wednesday on Thursday...

I was going to post about the cute pub today, but I wanted to make smoothie this morning and in all the running around with smoothie making, I forgot the usb key again.. hopefully if I have time, I'll put up an outfit post later one.. but for now... here's a wee bit...

{one} do you believe in ghosts? I guess so... I've never had an encounter with one, but I believe they're out there...

{two} are you more of a talker or more of a listener? I definitely like the sound of my own voice.. but I'm a good listener when I need to be.. 

{three} would you rather get up early or sleep late? Sleep late! I'm always glad when I get up early coz I get so much more done.. but I'm defo an owl and not a fowl!!

{four} if you could instantly become an expert at one type of dance, what type would you choose? This is a hard one.. Hip hop/street dance or flamenco! (inspired by my trip to Argentina)

Tho I think being good at jive or like swing dancing would be so fun too!

{five} what's your favorite drink? Juice or smoothie.. probably smoothie... mmmm smoothie...

{six} if your house caught fire and you could only grab three things, what would they be? My external hard drives (my laptop needs replacing!), my journals... my monkey toys??

The first two hold my photos & writing from my travels & are irreplaceable.. everything else is just material things which can be replaced.. my monkey Charlie that I've had since uni and has been on all my adventures with me... (is that really juvenile?)

{seven} if you could only visit one restaurant for the next five years, which would it be? Japanese.. I don't have a favourite in Edinburgh.. maybe Bonsai if I HAD to choose one..

{eight} who inspires you the most? As I got older, my mum, my granny & my great granny.. and my Pa..

{nine} if you had your own talk show, who would your first three guests be? Oprah, umm... Elsie from A Beautiful Mess and... Sebastian Vettle/Fernando Alonso/Mark Webber/Jenson Button

{ten} sneakers or sandals? Sandals! Jandals! (flip flops).. I could wear them every day! 

I wear them to/from work and even around the office if we don't have any visitors/clients etc. once the weather gets warm enough!

My old boss apparently hates the sound they make (we had like polished concrete floors), but he never told me off *total pet*, so I just kept on keepin on.. hehe..

{one} do you watch the history channel? if so, what’s your favorite program?We don't have the history channel, but I just looked up their shows and I watch Top Gear and Ice Road Truckers.. I love them both.. but choose Top Gear if I have to pick one.. tho I like the UK Top Gear, not its American counterpart (not that I've seen it, but... on principle..)

{two} what is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?Hide! Read, internet, bake... listen to the rain

{three} what does your dream house look like?It has hard wood floors and floor to ceiling windows and has views of water (preferably an ocean, but a lake would do too)

{four} what state were you born in?Not one of the 50 in America!

{five} do you have a change jar? if so, what do you use it for when it gets full?Nope.. I tried to have one but always ended up taking the change for bus money..

{six} what’s the first website you look at when you get on the computer?At work, gmail.. at home, facebook

{seven} what is your favorite breakfast?Anything that involves bacon.. breakfast burritos are always a winner..

{eight} what’s the most memorable trip you’ve ever taken?Definitely my trip to Oman!

{nine} do you prefer your coffee black or with cream/milk/sugar?Coffee with milk.. or when I'm in North America, coffee with cream... no sugar.. no syrup either...Apart from when I have a Tim Hortons Iced Coffee.. whatever they put in that stuff is like crack for me... I envision drinking many many many of them this Summer...
